Bathurst remains at a crossroads.

Our city is still growing, and it’s clear that we need renewed leadership to ensure our services and infrastructure keep up.

This is why I’m stepping up again for the Bathurst Regional Council elections this September, leading a team of locals who are committed to backing our community.

When I served as mayor, we finally made progress on projects that had been stuck in the pipeline for years. We took on the tough issues, especially around Bathurst’s finances.

While we didn’t get everything perfect - and I absolutely accept that - we got things moving in the right direction.

But lately, we’ve seen things slow down again, with too many important projects stalling - and the tough conversations not being had.
We need a Council that puts Bathurst first.

Our growing community deserves a Council that can keep up with its needs.

That means getting our finances in order, pushing forward with projects like the second river crossing, securing our long-term water security, and continuing to secure investment in local projects and major events.

We’ve made good progress in the past, but there’s still so much more to do.
That’s why Team Back Bathurst - with its proven track record in business, community service, and getting things done - is asking for your support once again.

Joining me in this effort are Tim Fagan, Kelly Richardson, James Connors, and Rebecca Mathie - a team of dedicated locals who share my commitment to our community.

Together, we can finish what we started and ensure we have a Council that backs Bathurst, not holds it back.
